British summer is in sight!
Amy Bruce explains why summer is the best time of year
Summer is in sight. The nights are getting lighter and the skies are becoming brighter. Just when the end seems so far, the warmer weather is getting closer.
So say goodbye to your hats, gloves and winter coats and saying hello to t-shirts, sandals and sunglasses.
British summer time officially begins on 29 March, and although UK weather is not renowned for its summer season, the sunny days we are blessed with are not ones to miss out on. The January blues are far behind us, so maybe the spring months are perfect time to detox, replenish and renew.
Spring cleaning doesn’t have to begin and end in your home, take the time to revitalise your mind and body to ensure you’re at the best you can be in the summer months.
Perhaps you could begin a yoga class, plan a holidy or even indulge in a little ‘me time’. Sometimes we all need a nice pampering session – and we won’t tell anyone if you purchased our Pure Indulgence gift box for yourself.
Summer also means family BBQs, picnics in the park and adventures at the beach… however, if the summer holidays seem too far away be sure to enjoy the Easter holidays which are right around the corner and it’s predicted to be the ‘Hottest Easter in 100 years’ according to all the newspapers.
So, dust off the beach gear and prepare to make a dash to your nearest seaside to make the most out of the bank holiday. Don’t forget to take your Kiddy Kit bag with you so that the children are never bored and allow you to have that ‘me-time’ we spoke of earlier!
